A precast concrete house is built from reinforced concrete panels made in advance and then installed on site, combining the strength of concrete with the speed and precision of modern production.
Resilient against earthquakes and the elements
Load-bearing concrete panel systems are known for good seismic performance thanks to their high stiffness and tied-together elements. In the 1988 Armenia earthquake, large-panel concrete buildings remained standing while other structural systems were damaged.
